Downsizing, 2017 film starring Matt Damon, Christoph Waltz, Hong Chau and more. Wow, not sure what to think? It’s about a man who with his wife decides to downsize. A new procedure (permanent) that shrinks people down to 5 inches and allows them to live a life of luxury in miniature cities.
Without giving it away to those who haven’t seen it and actually want to, it shows his life before his decision, during and what results after he is small. Gotta say, I didn’t get it. The begining sucked me into the film but that’s where it ended. To me the point was lost and so was my interest but I finished it.
Didn’t like the ending either but judge for yourself. The visuals were ok and the cast helped it from tanking worse than I think it did. Don’t buy it, just rent or stream once, that’s enough.
