Sleepless In Seattle

Sleepless In Seattle, 1993 film starring  Tom Hanks, Meg Ryan and Bill Pullman.  Chick Flick, good one for the guys to cuddle with their wives with!

Jonah (Ross Malinger) calls a radio talk show one night before Christmas, he wants to find his dad (Hanks) a new wife.  Though his love for his mother who had passed was strong he could not help but see the loneliness in his dad’s eyes.  The response from listeners all over the country was huge and one woman, Annie (Ryan) who hears the story ponders her own life.  She soon gives it all away in the chance that fate may be calling her.

Well, the gals will love it I’m sure.  I know its an older movie and many of you will have seen it.  Its a good one though, I really liked Meg Ryan in the eighties and nineties, I thought she was excellent.  Ryan and Hanks have been in other films together back in the day and they just seemed to fit in every one of them.  The story here was a good one, a little mushy and weepy but nevertheless a good one.  When you need a good romantic pick me up this would fit the bill.  As a guy I think this movie is worth watching so there you go!  Absolutely no need for fancy CGI, no need for action, guns or whatever, just a good solid story.  I like that!
