Pink Floyd : The Wall

Pink Floyd : The Wall, 1982 film starring Bob GeldofChristine Hargreaves and James Laurenson.  Simply the best rock movie ever made!!  If you were growing up in the seventies and eighties then you knew of this and likely saw this stoned or drunk, which by the way is probably the best way to watch it!

Simply put, the movie is about a troubled rock star who is slipping into insanity as more and more obstacles are put in his way until the day he finally blow a gasket and must face it all.

I absolutely love this film.  Geldof was born to star in this one and did a great job.  This was probably the tenth plus time I have seen this and always find myself singing along to every song.  It’s a film made from the album, the Wall and portrays Roger Waters’ vision of song and film beautifully.  I never got the chance to see the band play live but I always cranked it up when they came on the radio.  This film is a must own for every fan, It’s in mine and at the top of the Watch Again shelf.
